Two cruel and murderous kings.
Three bloodthirsty dragon invaders.
One sorcerer who needs a drink more than love or money.
Bib the sorcerer’s wife must pay her debt to the God of War, and like any good, murderous husband, Bib insists on helping. That leads to a slaughtered army, maiming and torture, and a desperate flight from danger along with the exiled infant king.
Then Bib wishes that kings and armies were all he had to deal with.
Dragons and monsters from other realms arrive to destroy mankind and set up a cozy retirement in the ex-world of man. Bib struggles against them across battlefields, holy places and death worlds, but even if he prevails, will his life of bloodshed and murder mean there’s no longer a place for him among men?
And if not, can he go someplace that serves beer?
